My weekend of solitude is going well! I’ve been listening to deadmau5’s 4x4=12 and just finished Death Cab for Cutie’s Something About Airplanes for the first time (both were great). What was particularly cool about this was that I found an awesome little program called Rivet that allowed me to stream them both from iTunes to my 360 and listen to them through my TV’s much superior speakers! Yay!

I also read a couple of chapters of Ender’s Game, which is getting really good. I made some coffee too and it all made for a nice peaceful break from playing League of Legends with Wes, which is always fun.

Hoping that tomorrow with be a good day too. Maybe I’ll even wake up in time for breakfast! :D

How to black out your Tumblr:

    1. Copy this code from
    2. Go to your blog —> customize —> edit HTML
    3. Insert it right at the top, right above the first <html>
    4. Voila, blackout.

To get rid of the black screen, just go back when tomorrow ends and remove the script. It’s actually that easy.

Show your support for the SOPA blackout, and stand up for your right to blog politically inflammatory comments, TMI tuesdays, lolcats, and clever gifs.

(ty Sam for helping me figure this shit out)

    21 Nov 2011

Confession: When I first get into a band that i know nothing about, I read their wikipedia page to see which album I should listen to first.

For example, right now Deadmau5 has piqued my interest. I know next to nothing about him, and upon looking up his stuff on Spotify (I love Spotify) I was a little overwhelmed. Where do I start? So I wiki him, and find that 4x4=12 did relatively well on the worldwide charts and that ”reviewers praised the album for its universal appeal to a diverse audience.” So I start there, and proceed as I see fit.

Is this wrong? What do y’all do in a situation like this?

    Happy Friday!

8tracks is one of those sites that I don’t use too often, but when I do it’s absolutely lovely and wonderful and all sorts of good. Here’s some music I’ve been listening (and dancing) to today.

    Enjoy your weekend Tumblr!
